The first time that I was was introduced to Buddhism was when I took a world religion class in college.
I love Buddhism because it’s a philosophy to the “way of life”.
One thing that I strongly admire about this religion is that Buddha does not consider himself a ‘God’. In my opinion no one is a God. We are all one energy. Also, the statue is not worshipped yet just appreciated for the teaching.
Now if you don’t know what Buddhism is, well it’s simple. Buddhism teaches to lead a moral life, be mindful and aware of thoughts and actions, and of course to develop wisdom and understanding that leads to true happiness/enlightenment.
I’ve taken my path way to follow the steps of another culture to
- understand and gain wisdom
- be diverse
- find true happiness
- be mindful of thoughts and actions
I had the honor to visit the Amitabha Stupa And Peace Park in Sedona, AZ 🌵 05/19/17 🌵
The scene is incredibly beautiful and peaceful environment to meditate, give gratitude, do yoga, take a walk with your dog, anything!
